Terms & Conditions

By engaging with 121 Tutors to receive tutoring services you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Missed Sessions:

Should a pre-arranged session be missed, another session will be arranged provided the criteria have been met in the Cancellation details below.

Postponement/Cancellation:

When postponing a session, it's important that as much notice is given as possible (ideally a minimum of 24 hours) so other arrangements can be made.

When a session is postponed with required notice given, a catch-up lesson will be arranged at a mutually convenient time between yourself and your tutor.  Should this occur later in the term and a suitable time cannot be arranged, the session will be credited to the following term.

You should contact your tutor directly when a postponement is needed and ensure the message is received.

Please note that if a session is cancelled less than 5 hours prior to the planned start time, the lesson will be charged in full.

Parents Responsibilities:

Our tutors often have several back to back sessions booked and therefore must finish sessions on time to enable schedules to be met and provide a quality service.  We ask that parents or legal guardians are available at the agreed location to ensure the session can finish at the correct time.  Should our tutors be required to stay past this agreed end time a further session may be charged.  Unless students are of a legal age to remain home alone, a guardian should be on the premises during the session.

Payments:

Once tutoring has been agreed, you will receive an invoice via email which is payable online.  We kindly ask that all invoices are paid within 14 days of issue to ensure tutoring can continue as agreed, payment options can be arranged.  We kindly ask that under no circumstances you pay our tutors directly as this will void any insurance and guarantees 121 Tutors has in place.  We will endeavor to send a reminder and contact you if payment has not been received.  Should payment remain outstanding the debt may be passed on for collection with incurred costs added to the original invoice.

We can be contacted on chris@121tutors.co.nz if there are any issues.

Feedback/Contact:

121 Tutors is always seeking ways to improve our service.  If you would like to contact us with any suggestions, issues or feedback on our tutors please contact Chris Kent (Director) on chris@121tutors.co.nz  Please note all correspondence will be kept confidential.
