121 Tutors takes pride in ensuring we select the ‘right fit’ tutor for your needs. To facilitate this process, we offer a range of tutors and hourly rates so you can decide what suits your family best. Our tutors tailor their teaching to fit their student’s needs.
Our team have training or experience within education fields, such as; Teachers, Early Childhood Educators, Teaching Assistants or are experienced tutors.
Face to Face Lessons
We provide individual one to one sessions which are a sure-fire way for every student to receive the time and support they require to take steps forward in their learning. These lessons are currently only available in the Auckland region, and are held at local libraries or other mutually convenient locations.
Face to face lessons from $55(+gst) per hour. *
Online Lessons
Online tutoring is a great way to gain more flexibility around your learning requirements. Completed in your home, online tutoring cuts out the need for any travelling and gives great access to a wider range of specialist tutors across New Zealand, not just those that live near by.
Using shared online whiteboards which create a digital classroom environment, these lessons offer a great option and can also usually be arranged at short notice to provide immediate support for upcoming exams and revision.

*The above prices relate to our standard charges. Home lessons (Auckland only) may incur extra costs for tutors travel time. Prices may also vary for specialist tutoring for both online and face to face sessions.
